Fondation pour le Rayonnement de
la Trompe Musicale
The Fondation pour le Rayonnement de la Trompe Musicale (FRTM) (Foundation for the Promotion of the Hunting Horn) is a foundation under the auspices of the Fondation de France, and legally incorporated within it. The FRTM’s statutory mission is to initiate or support any action to promote the hunting horn as a musical instrument, for example by commissioning composers, enabling scientific research on the instrument, encouraging initiatives to teach the horn, helping to record works from the horn’s heritage or to publish musical works for it, or by sponsoring concerts that showcase its musical potential.

Abritée sous l’égide de la Fondation de France, garante de ses objectifs d’intérêt général, la Fondation pour le Rayonnement de la Trompe Musicale (FRTM) a pour ambition de promouvoir, en France et à l’étranger, la trompe musicale. Elle concourt à la mise en valeur du patrimoine trompistique existant et à la découverte dans les fonds d’archives, partout en Europe, de partitions oubliées.
 La Fondation passe commande d’œuvres pour trompe à des compositeurs contemporains, soutient leur publication, leur enregistrement et leur programmation. Elle favorise l’ouverture de classes de trompe ou de « master-class » dans les conservatoires et apporte son concours aux sonneurs et aux formations d’excellence. 
La FRTM rassemble tous ceux qui souhaitent contribuer à ses missions.
